Tempo Travellers and mini buses both serve group travel, but they're not interchangeable — the right choice depends mostly on group size and how much you value manoeuvrability versus raw capacity.
Tempo Traveller: 9–17 seats
Tempo Travellers are easier to manoeuvre on narrower hill roads and through city traffic, which makes them a strong choice for family trips, pilgrimage tours and friend-group getaways to destinations like Coorg or Chikmagalur.
Mini Bus: 20–29 seats
Once your group crosses about 18–20 people, a mini bus becomes the more practical option — it's purpose-built for larger headcounts and is commonly booked for corporate offsites, wedding guest groups and larger school outings.
