9, 12 or 17 Seater Tempo Traveller — How to Choose the Right Group Vehicle

Three Tempo Traveller sizes, three different use cases. Here's how to pick the right one for your group size and trip.

Our Tempo Traveller range covers three distinct group sizes, and picking the right one comes down to headcount, luggage, and how much you value extra legroom over capacity.

9 Seater Tempo Traveller — ₹22/km

The 9 Seater Tempo Traveller is our most-booked option for group outstation trips and pilgrimage tours. It's right-sized for extended families or friend groups who've outgrown an Innova but don't need a full-size vehicle. Minimum 300 km/day, ₹500 driver Bata.

Maharaja Tempo Traveller (12 Seater) — ₹45/km

The Maharaja Tempo Traveller trades some seats for significantly more width and legroom per passenger, arranged in a lounge-style layout. It's a favourite for family celebrations and milestone trips where comfort matters more than headcount. Minimum 300 km/day, ₹700 driver Bata.

Force Urbania (17 Seater) — ₹38/km

Force Urbania is a newer-generation, van-style vehicle with a smoother, more car-like ride and a modern cabin — well suited to larger corporate groups and premium tours. Minimum 300 km/day, ₹700 driver Bata.

How to Decide

If your group is 7–9 people, the 9 Seater is the economical choice. For 10–12 people who want lounge-style comfort over squeezing in extra seats, the Maharaja is worth the difference. For 13–17 people, or when a modern cabin and smoother highway ride matter, Force Urbania is the better fit.
