How to Choose the Right Vehicle for Your Bangalore Group Trip

Sedan, Innova, Tempo Traveller or bus? A quick guide to matching vehicle type to group size, luggage and route.

The most common question we get before a trip isn't about pricing — it's "which vehicle should we book?" The right answer depends on three things: how many people are travelling, how much luggage you're carrying, and how far you're going.

Groups of 1–4

A sedan is usually enough for airport runs, city travel and short outstation trips with light luggage. If you're carrying more than two medium bags, consider a Maruti Ertiga for the extra boot space.

Groups of 5–7

This is Innova and Innova Crysta territory. For longer drives — Coorg, Chikmagalur, Ooty — the Crysta's better cabin insulation and captain seats make a real difference over four or more hours on the road.

Groups of 9–17

Once you're past what a single MUV can comfortably seat, a Tempo Traveller is the natural next step. The 12 seater is our most-booked size for family and pilgrimage groups, while the Luxury and Maharaja variants trade a few seats for noticeably more comfort on multi-day trips.

Groups of 20+

Mini buses (20–29 seater) and tourist buses (33–50 seater) are built for office teams, wedding parties, school groups and large pilgrimage tours where moving everyone together on one vehicle is more practical than splitting across cars.

If you're unsure, tell us your group size and route when you enquire — we'll suggest a vehicle rather than leave you to guess.
